Having provided a detailed survey of relevant scripture in OtherWise Christian: A Guidebook for Transgender Liberation, Mx Chris Paige now brings us a survey of testimonies from OtherWise Christians [What is “OtherWise”?] in this anthology sequel. Reminding us that the discussion of gender issues is not a theoretical one, this collection provides insights into the ways that Christian tradition has served as both an obstacle and a support for transgender, intersex, non-binary people in the modern world.
Authors include classic spokespersons for transgender Christianity, such as Dr Virginia Mollenkott, Rev Erin Swenson, and Rev Victoria Kolakowski, as well as newer millenial voices like Diamond Stylz of the Marsha’s Plate podcast and intersex voices like Lianne Simon of the Intersex and Faith project.

About the Editor
Mx Chris Paige is an OtherWise-identified writer, educator, organizer, and coach, who authored OtherWise Christian: A Guidebook for Transgender Liberation and the OtherWise Reflections Guide series.
Chris was founding executive director of Transfaith, a multi-tradition, multi-racial, multi-gender advocacy organization by and for people of transgender experience.
Chris has been a catalyst and/or contributor to several other ground-breaking projects for and by transgender faith leaders. Previously, Chris had been publisher and co-director of the (now defunct) award-winning progressive Christian magazine, The Other Side.
They are available for speaking, teaching, and preaching engagements, as well as coaching and consulting.
