OtherWise Christian 2: Stories of Resistance

In OtherWise Christian 2: Stories of Resistance, Mx Chris Paige has gathered together 29 transgender, non-binary, and intersex authors to share about their lived experience in relationship with Christian tradition.

Having provided a detailed survey of relevant scripture in OtherWise Christian: A Guidebook for Transgender Liberation, Mx Chris Paige now brings us a survey of testimonies from OtherWise Christians [What is “OtherWise”?] in this anthology sequel. Reminding us that the discussion of gender issues is not a theoretical one, this collection provides insights into the ways that Christian tradition has served as both an obstacle and a support for transgender, intersex, non-binary people in the modern world.
